Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;De acordo com o gabinete de estatísticas da União Europeia, a taxa de desemprego na zona euro mantém-se nos 9,9 por cento desde novembro de 2009.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;No conjunto dos 27, o desemprego também cresceu uma décima para os 9,5 por cento.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;O Eurostat estima que em janeiro existiam 22.979 milhões de desempregados no total da União Europeia (UE), dos quais 15.683 milhões só nos países que utilizam a moeda única.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;Face ao mês anterior, o número de desempregados aumentou em 136 mil pessoas na UE (38 mil na zona euro). &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;Segundo os dados hoje divulgados, no espaço de um ano, há mais 3,8 mil milhões de desempregados no conjunto dos 27, dos quais 2,2 mil milhões estão na zona euro.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;Em janeiro, as taxas de desemprego mais elevadas entre os Estados membros da UE encontram-se na Letónia (22,9 por cento) e em Espanha (18,8 por cento).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;As taxas mais baixas situam-se, por sua vez, na Holanda (4,2 por cento) e Áustria (5,3 por cento).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;Portugal tem a sexta taxa de desemprego mais alta da UE, tendo chegado aos 10,5 por cento em janeiro, o que representa uma subida de 0,2 pontos percentuais face aos 10,3 Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;Os Estágios Profissionais são uma medida do Instituto de Emprego e Formação  Profissional (IEFP) para oferecer aos jovens um estágio em contexto real de  trabalho, promovendo-se transição do meio escolar para o mundo do trabalho. Estes estágios têm como objectivo último a inserção na vida activa e a  promoção da empregabilidade dos jovens.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;Os destinatários desta medida são jovens entre os 16 e os 30 anos com  qualificações de nível intermédio (níveis II e III) ou superior (níveis IV e V),&amp;nbsp; à  procura do primeiro emprego ou desempregados e à procura de novo  emprego, desde que tenham entretanto adquirido formação qualificante. Em ambos  os casos, não podem ter exercido actividade profissional por um período superior  a um ano. De acordo com o nível de qualificação, a duração dos estágios varia,  podendo ir no máximo até aos12 meses.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;Aos estagiários é concedida uma bolsa (cujo valor varia também de acordo com  o nível de qualificação), seguro contra acidentes de trabalho, subsídio de  deslocação, subsídio de alimentação e, em determinados casos, subsídio de  alojamento. Segundo informações disponíveis no site do Fundo Monetário Internacional (FMI), com base em dados nacionais, a taxa de desemprego no primeiro trimestre de 1996 foi de 7,5%. Estes números não podem, no entanto, ser directamente comparáveis, uma vez que a actual série do INE tem critérios de análise distintos.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;span id="ctl00_bcr_ThisContent" style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;Em relação à série estatística iniciada em 1998, a evolução trimestral do desemprego foi a mais elevada dos últimos oito anos. Nessa altura, a taxa de desemprego era inferior a 6% e, nos quatro anos seguintes, baixou, chegando a atingir valores abaixo dos 4% - considerado pleno emprego.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;span id="ctl00_bcr_ThisContent" style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;A partir de 2002, a evolução do desemprego agravou-se, atingindo o ponto mais alto entre Janeiro e Março deste ano, com o número de pessoas sem emprego a chegar a 412, 6 mil. Face ao trimestre homólogo, passou a haver mais 65,4 mil pessoas sem trabalho, um agravamento de 18,8%.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;span id="ctl00_bcr_ThisContent" style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;No final do ano passado, O INE contabilizava 389,7 mil desempregados, o que elevava a taxa de desemprego aos 7,1%. Em relação ao primeiro trimestre do ano passado, a taxa de desemprego aumentou 1,1% e relativamente aos três últimos meses do ano passado agravou-se em 0,4%.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;span id="ctl00_bcr_ThisContent" style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;O aumento da população desempregada à procura de novo emprego, segundo o INE, sentiu-se nas três áreas de actividade, destacando-se pela negativa, os sectores da construção, indústria, energia e águas, representando mais de metade do acréscimo homólogo. Só o sector da construção deixou sem trabalho 17,5 mil pessoas.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;span id="ctl00_bcr_ThisContent" style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;As mulheres continuam a ser as mais atingidas pelo desemprego, correspondendo a 53,3% do total de pessoas sem emprego - e registando um aumento de 8,6% da taxa de desemprego nos três meses iniciais de 2005.
